Jordan Addison Listed As Backup On Depth Chart
1 year agoMinnesota Vikings rookie wide receiver Jordan Addison is listed as a backup on the team's first unofficial depth chart of training camp, behind both Justin Jefferson and K.J. Osborn. There's a lot to like about Addison long term, but fantasy managers may want to temper their expectations for him in his rookie season. Osborn is expected to play a pivotal role as the team's F receiver in 2023. Meanwhile, Addison is ticketed for the Z role in the offense, and it's unrealistic to expect him to pick things up quickly. Addison is going to have a role, but Jefferson and tight end T.J. Hockenson are expected to lead the team in targets. The 21-year-old is still worth taking as a WR4/flex with upside in Minnesota's pass-happy offense.
