Joe Burrow Progressing On Schedule
1 year agoCincinnati Bengals quarterback Joe Burrow (calf) had a throwing session before Friday's preseason opener against the Green Bay Packers for the first time since he suffered a strained right calf on July 27, and the team says he's progressing as expected. "I think things are good and he's progressing as he should," head coach Zac Taylor said. The Bengals remain tight-lipped about when Burrow might actually return, but they haven't added any time to the initial prognosis that he would be out for "several weeks." The 26-year-old was also spotted on Friday running without a sleeve on his injured calf. As long as Burrow doesn't have any setbacks, he'll have a chance to be ready for the regular season opener in Week 1.
