8 months agoDetroit Red Wings goaltender Jimmy Howard faces a challenging matchup on Thursday against the high-flying Toronto Maple Leafs. Howard has started the season strongly, although his 0-0-2 record does not reflect that. He has a 2.36 GAA and .924 SV% through those two starts. He's hoping that level of play continues, but he's a risky fantasy option taking on a Maple Leafs team that is averaging five goals a game. Howard can offer fantasy managers solid ratios as long as he stays healthy, but he'd be a goalie to avoid on Thursday night.--Raymond Harrison - RotoBaller
