Jimmy Graham Not Expected To Return
5 years agoGreen Bay Packers tight end Jimmy Graham is not expected to be back with the team next season, according to sources. Graham has become a shell of his former self, so this move wouldn't come as a huge surprise. The 33-year-old rarely gets much separation these days and had only 38 catches (60 targets) for 447 yards and three touchdowns in a full season last year. He hasn't missed a game since 2015, but Graham isn't a downfield threat down the seams any longer, even with quarterback Aaron Rodgers throwing him passes. Regardless of where he lands, Graham will be a low-upside, touchdown-dependent TE2. Jace Sternberger is expected to become the team's top pass-catching tight end in 2020, and he could have low-end TE1 upside in this offense.
