2 years agoFree-agent quarterback Derek Carr visited with the New York Jets this past weekend, and apparently the Jets treated him like he was the savior of the franchise while giving him extremely high praise. The visit went well, and the Jets predicted that Carr could be a future Hall of Famer if he were to sign with them, according to ESPN's Dianna Russini. Carr has visited with the New Orleans Saints and Jets to this point, but he's expected to visit with other teams as he takes his time to make a decision in free agency. The four-time Pro Bowler threw for 3,522 yards, 24 touchdowns and 14 interceptions in 15 games in his final season with the Las Vegas Raiders in 2022. While the Jets do have some nice up-and-coming weapons on offense to surround him with, he'd likely go into 2023 as a high-end QB2 if he were to land in New York.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
