Jets Have Done Their Homework On Dalvin Cook
1 year agoThe New York Jets have done their homework on free-agent running back Dalvin Cook and are in the mix, but they are one of many teams interested in his services, as well as a few within the AFC East. The Jets already have Breece Hall in their backfield, but he's heading into his second NFL season and is coming off an ACL tear. If the Jets were to sign Cook in free agency, it would be extremely bad news for Hall's 2023 fantasy value. He's currently considered a low-end RB1/high-end RB2 with injury risk. Cook is only 27 and has registered four straight 1,000-yard rushing seasons, but injuries are a concern, as well as his explosiveness as a ball-carrier as he approaches the dreaded age of 30. The Jets also have Michael Carter and rookie Israel Abanikanda, who they really like.
