The Chicago Cubs have agreed on a multi-year extension with president of baseball operations Jed Hoyer on Monday. The exact details of the deal weren't announced, but Hoyer was in his final year of his five-year deal before signing this new contract. Hoyer joined the organization in 2011 under then president of baseball operations Theo Epstein. The two of them helped build the team that won the World Series in 2016. Epstein decided to step down from his role after the 2020 season. Hoyer took over after that and will be in Chicago for the foreseeable future.--Andy WebbRead More News
