Jaylen Waddle Practicing Monday
1 year agoMiami Dolphins head coach Mike McDaniel said that wide receiver Jaylen Waddle (abdomen) was scheduled to practice on Monday. Waddle said last week that he was "feeling good" and fully expects to play this Sunday against the Los Angeles Chargers in Week 1 of the regular season. The 24-year-old pass-catcher suffered an abdominal injury nearly four weeks ago, so he should be good to go this week for fantasy managers. Even with All-Pro teammate Tyreek Hill soaking up consistent targets through the air in Miami, there's enough to go around for Waddle to make him a low-end WR1 in 2023. In his second NFL campaign last year, he had 75 receptions on 117 targets for a career-high 1,356 yards (league-high 18.1 yards per catch) and eight touchdowns in 17 regular season starts.
