Jay Ajayi 2019 Player Outlook: Terrible Football Player Remains Terrible
6 years agoHere is how I opened my 2018 Jay Ajayi Player Outlook: "Currently trending as a low end RB2 and going in the middle of the fourth round, Jay Ajayi might be the single worst pick you can make at his current ADP. " I'll give myself one pat on the back for that. Ajayi's career is over. He is a terrible running back that currently does not have a team. Why would anyone sign him? He does nothing well. He is a replacement level between the tackles runner. He is not good in space. He is a below average pass catcher. Maybe some team signs him during the season because of injuries and him being a name they remember, but no team wants to put Ajayi on the field on purpose. I expect him to enter August without a team and to never be fantasy relevant again. Do not draft Ajayi even in the deepest of leagues.
