Javonte Williams Takes Part In First Camp Practice
1 year agoDenver Broncos running back Javonte Williams (knee) took part in the team's first training camp practice on Wednesday. The plan for him will be the same as others coming off significant injuries from last year, which means he'll likely be limited and given some days off as the team sees fit. But overall, the Broncos are happy with the way Williams looks after he tore his ACL in Week 4 of the 2022 campaign. The 23-year-old won't be rushed back too soon this early in the summer, and he could even be somewhat eased into action early in the regular season with Samaje Perine expected to have an expanded role. Just the fact that Williams isn't on the PUP list to start camp is great news, and the healthier he looks this summer will only raise his ADP as an RB2/3 in fantasy drafts.
