Javonte Williams Sees 14 Touches In Week 9 Blowout Loss
1 month agoDenver Broncos running back Javonte Williams had a team-high 12 carries for 42 yards and caught two of his three targets for 42 yards in the 41-10 Week 9 blowout loss on the road to the Baltimore Ravens on Sunday. Williams' receiving work stood out in an otherwise mediocre day, with his 34-yard catch in the first quarter going as the team's longest play on the day. The 24-year-old's volume was certainly hurt by the fact that the Broncos fell behind early and never could recover. Williams' production has improved after a rough start to the season, but his two-touchdown performance in the Week 8 win over the New Orleans Saints has really been his only truly impressive showing of the year for fantasy managers. The good news is he has reached 80 scrimmage yards in four of the last six games. In Week 10 against the Chiefs on the road, Williams will be a low-upside RB3/flex.
