Jameson Taillon Lined Up For Potential Game 5
2 years agoNew York Yankees right-hander Jameson Taillon would start a potential Game 5 of the American League Championship Series against the Houston Astros on Monday, according to manager Aaron Boone. The Yankees are heading back home down two games to none in the series, so they'll need to win a game to force a Game 5 on Monday in the Bronx. Taillon got the start in Game 1 of the ALCS on Wednesday and took a no-decision after giving up one earned run on four hits while walking three and striking out none in 4 1/3 innings pitched. It was his first postseason start this year. Taillon's only other playoff action came in the AL Division Series, when he allowed two runs on three hits in a 4-2 loss in Game 2 in extra innings.
