San Francisco Giants outfield prospect James Tibbs III notched his first career professional hit in his Single-A debut with San Jose. The No. 13 overall pick in the draft this year out of Florida State wasted little time getting the milestone out of the way in his first game with San Jose. The outfielder was ranked as the No. 12 prospect heading into the 2024 draft by MLB Pipeline. At 21 years old, the lefty-swinging slugger has plus power potential with a refined approach at the plate. This is the first of many hits for Tibbs as he begins his professional baseball career. He is young, but debuting at 21 at Single-A, he could advance quickly through the minors.--Brian Buckey - RotoBallerRead More News
