James Outman Will Make Opening Day Roster
2 years agoLos Angeles Dodgers manager Dave Roberts said that outfielder James Outman will make the team's Opening Day roster. Outman made the team by hitting .268 (11-for-41) with two doubles, a triple, two home runs, nine RBI, five runs scored and a stolen base to this point in 17 Cactus League games. The 25-year-old will serve in a bench role for the Dodgers to begin the season, so he won't have much fantasy appeal in redraft leagues. He played in just four games for the Blue in his MLB debut in 2022, but he impressed in 125 games with Double-A Tulsa and Triple-A Oklahoma City by slashing .294/.393/.586 with a .978 OPS, career-high 31 home runs, 106 RBI, 101 runs and 13 stolen bases.
