Jahan Dotson Extremely Confident Entering Second Season
1 year agoWashington Commanders wide receiver Jahan Dotson told reporters on Thursday that he has "all the confidence in the world" heading into his second season in the NFL. The 23-year-old pass-catcher caught 35 of his 61 targets for 523 yards and seven touchdowns in 12 games (10 starts) last year in his first season after being a first-round pick. Terry McLaurin will continue to be the target hog in this offense through the air, but Dotson has a case to be made for a second-year breakout in what should be an expanded role. Washington's quarterback situation between Sam Howell and Jacoby Brissett leaves a lot to be desired, but Dotson is a fine WR3 target with upside in fantasy drafts this year in offensive coordinator Eric Bieniemy's scheme.
