Isiah Pacheco Says He'll "Absolutely" Be 100% For Week 1
1 year agoKansas City Chiefs running back Isiah Pacheco (hand, shoulder) said he feels great and is taking it one day at a time with the coaching staff at training camp. He also said he will "absolutely" be 100 percent by Week 1 of the regular season against the Detroit Lions. The Chiefs haven't put Pacheco on the Physically Unable to Perform list yet, but he has been in a non-contact jersey so far this week after having surgery on his hand and shoulder in the offseason. As long as the 24-year-old second-year back is healthy heading into Week 1, he should operate as KC's primary back after becoming the starter in 2022, but he'll share valuable pass-catching work with third-down back Jerick McKinnon. For now, consider him a low-end RB2/high-end RB3 in fantasy.
