Isaiah Stewart Will Miss at Least One Week
Detroit Pistons center Isaiah Stewart (calf) will be re-evaluated in a week after being diagnosed with a Grade 1 left calf strain. Stewart has been the primary backup center for Detroit this season, averaging 10.0 points, 5.1 rebounds, 1.2 assists, and 1.6 blocks in 23.1 minutes per game this season. He did not play on Sunday and will miss at least four games over the next week, including two road games in Washington and two home games against the Warriors and Lakers. For however long Stewart is out, Paul Reed should step into a more meaningful role off the bench, and Jalen Duren will likely get a larger workload if the game is competitive. With back-to-back matchups against the Wizards this week, Duren will be a must-start in almost all formats, and Reed makes sense as a streaming play or DFS flier.
