Hawks Plan to Bring Back CJ McCollum
Atlanta Hawks guard CJ McCollum appears set to remain with the team next season. He is scheduled to become an unrestricted free agent, coming off a two-year, $64 million contract. However, NBA insider Jake Fischer reported on Thursday that the Hawks plan to bring back McCollum. After arriving from Washington midseason, McCollum proved to be a solid fit for Atlanta, averaging 18.7 points, 3.1 rebounds, 4.1 assists, and 1.0 steals in 28.8 minutes per game. He will turn 35 before next season starts, but McCollum's game has aged well. If he stays healthy, fantasy managers could get a couple more productive years from McCollum.
