The New York Giants have requested permission to interview Buffalo Bills linebacker coach Bobby Babich for their vacant defensive coordinator position. Don "Wink" Martindale held the position for the first two years of head coach Brian Daboll's tenure in New York, but the two sides parted ways after a tough 2023 campaign. Babich has been on Bills head coach Sean McDermott's staff since 2017 and has held the role of assistant defensive backs coach, safeties coach, and linebackers coach. He and Daboll were on the Bills' staff together from 2018 to 2021. The New York defense gave up the sixth-most total yards per game in 2023 (361.7), so whoever lands the defensive coordinator job will have their work cut out for them.--Jackson Sparks - RotoBallerRead More News
