Vancouver Canucks right wing Brock Boeser (undisclosed) was forced to leave Thursday's 4-3 shootout win over the St. Louis Blues after his first shift. He was hit by a hard shot from Canucks defenseman Elias Pettersson. This season, Boeser has already missed some games due to personal reasons, making 10 appearances. He has logged four goals and two assists. While it was concerning to see Boeser leave the ice on Thursday, Canucks head coach Adam Foote said after the win that the American forward "should be back next game." Vancouver will return to action on Saturday against the Minnesota Wild.--Taavi Pailk
