Winnipeg Jets winger Gustav Nyquist (undisclosed) took only three shifts in Thursday's 6-3 win over the Chicago Blackhawks, finishing the contest with 1:28 of ice time. Nyquist hardly broke a sweat in the game but still collected a power-play assist before his exit. The Swedish veteran has yet to score for his new team, but he does boast five assists through 10 games. In Winnipeg, Nyquist has filled a middle-six role while working on the second power-play unit. Nyquist's injury could give Nikita Chibrikov a new opportunity in the lineup. The 22-year-old has been a healthy scratch for the last two contests after going scoreless in his first five appearances of the season.--Taavi Pailk
