The San Francisco Giants selected De La Salle High School left-handed pitcher Kyle Harrison with the 85th overall pick in the third round in the 2020 MLB draft on Thursday. They followed that up by going with Arizona State pitcher R.J. Dabovich in the fourth round and Le Moyne College pitcher Ryan Murphy in the fifth round. Harrison has a good chance to be a solid left-handed starter with a great feel for his three-pitch mix with a deceptive three-quarters arm slot. Dabovich has plenty of arm strength and has two plus pitches in his 93-94 mph fastball and low-80s breaking ball. He has a chance to be an effective big-league reliever. Murphy didn't face great competition in Division II, but the 6-foot-1, 185-pounder showed solid strikeout stuff.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBallerRead More News
