1 year agoThe Cleveland Guardians placed third baseman Gabriel Arias (wrist) on the 10-day injured list on Wednesday with a fractured right wrist and recalled shortstop Brayan Rocchio from Triple-A Columbus in a corresponding move. Arias injured his wrist in Tuesday's game against the Cincinnati Reds and will now miss the rest of the 2023 regular season. The 23-year-old played in his first full MLB season this year and finished with a .210/.275/.352 slash line, 10 home runs, 15 doubles, 26 RBI, three stolen bases and 36 runs scored in 345 trips to the plate and 122 games.
