1 year agoSan Diego Padres outfielder Fernando Tatis Jr. (ankle) made an appearance as a pinch-hitter in the eighth inning of the team's 7-6 loss to the Philadelphia Phillies in 12 innings on Sunday. Tatis finished the contest 1-for-2 with two RBI and finished the game in right field, so the ankle injury he suffered on Saturday in the second game of a doubleheader doesn't appear to be very serious. Manager Bob Melvin said before Sunday's game that the 24-year-old superstar was feeling much better on Sunday morning, too, so he should be back in Tuesday's lineup against the Toronto Blue Jays after an off day on Monday. Fantasy managers should be prepared to get Tatis back in their starting lineups in all formats this week.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
