1 year agoTwo-time All-Pro running back Ezekiel Elliott is visiting with the New England Patriots on Saturday. This could impact the running back-needy AFC East, as well as the Dalvin Cook sweepstakes, since he and Elliott are considered the top backs available on the free-agent market. Elliott looked great in the videos he has posted recently of his workouts. The Patriots are also interested in Cook to provide depth behind Rhamondre Stevenson, especially after veteran Ty Montgomery suffered an undisclosed injury in training camp this week. The Patriots also have Pierre Strong Jr., Kevin Harris and J.J. Taylor in their backfield.
