Emmet Sheehan To Begin Season On Injured List
9 months agoLos Angeles Dodgers right-hander Emmet Sheehan is going to begin the season on the injured list, according to manager Dave Roberts. Sheehan has been dealing with general soreness this spring and seemingly will not begin the season in the Dodgers' rotation. The 24-year-old got into 13 games with the Dodgers in the 2023 season, working to a 4.92 ERA across 60 1/3 innings of work. However, he also dominated to the tune of a 1.86 ERA across 12 appearances (10 starts) at the Double-A level, punching out a hefty 41.7% of the hitters he faced during that time. With Walker Buehler still sidelined following Tommy John surgery and Clayton Kershaw out until mid-season due to shoulder surgery, it looks like Gavin Stone is the top pivot for fantasy managers when it comes to the Dodgers' rotation.
