The Philadelphia Eagles have interviewed former Wisconsin defensive coordinator Jim Leonhard for their open defensive coordinator position, according to a league source. Leonhard was a 10-year NFL safety who is well-respected in league circles. The 40-year-old has never coached at the NFL level. He began his coaching career as a defensive backs coach at Wisconsin in 2016 and quickly worked his way up the ranks at his alma mater. Leonhard was the Badgers' defensive coordinator until midway through the 2022 season, when he became the interim head coach when Paul Chryst was fired. Philly is looking to replace former defensive coordinator Jonathan Gannon, who left to become the Arizona Cardinals' head coach this offseason. The Eagles' top candidate could be current defensive backs coach Dennard Wilson.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBallerRead More News
