Drew Lock Returning To Face Chiefs
4 years agoDenver Broncos quarterback Drew Lock was inactive in the Week 12 blowout loss to the Saints after being deemed a high-risk close contact of Jeff Driskel, who tested positive for COVID-19. But he was activated on Wednesday and has returned to practice, signaling that he'll be back under center against the division-rival Chiefs in Week 13. The Broncos will likely be trailing at some point in this game by multiple scores, which should allow Lock to air it out, but he is still on a streak of six straight games with an interception. The first meeting against KC in Week 7 was in the snow, with Lock going for 254 yards, no touchdowns and two interceptions. Just because the Broncos might have to throw often on Sunday won't make Lock any more attractive as a low-end, inaccurate QB2 for fantasy managers.
