1 year agoCleveland Browns cornerback Denzel Ward (concussion) remains sidelined at practice on Monday. Ward has not seen the practice field since suffering a concussion in the team's second preseason game on Aug. 26. He still has time to get cleared before the team's Week 1 game this Sunday against the Cincinnati Bengals, but until then, he should be considered questionable to suit up. If the 26-year-old doesn't gain clearance before this Sunday, A.J. Green will likely start in his place against the Bengals. Ward wasn't that great in coverage last year, but he did finish with 15 pass breakups, three interceptions and two fumble recoveries for touchdowns.
