Deebo Samuel, Raheem Mostert Questionable For Week 5
4 years agoSan Francisco 49ers wide receiver Deebo Samuel (illness) and running back Raheem Mostert (knee) are both questionable for Week 5 against the Dolphins. Samuel missed practice each of the last two days, while Mostert was a limited participant all week. Samuel doesn't have COVID-19, so he has a chance to play, but it's concerning that he ran just 16 of 50 possible routes in his season debut last weekend. Miami's defense has allowed the sixth-most fantasy points to receivers so far this year, though, so Samuel has some upside in his second game, although he's more of a risk/reward WR4/flex. Mostert is trending in the right direction, but keep in mind that he hasn't played since Week 2 and Jerick McKinnon and Jeff Wilson Jr. have done well in his absence. He'll be worth starting in most leagues this Sunday if he's active, but this crowded backfield should give you some cause for concern.
