David Bell Expected To Make The Team
1 year agoCleveland Browns wide receiver David Bell is still in great standing with the team and will make the 53-man roster out of training camp, even though Cleveland has added Elijah Moore, Marquise Goodwin and rookie third-rounder Cedric Tillman since last year. Head coach Kevin Stefanski loved Bell coming out of Purdue and still sees the same potential in him as a slot receiver. The 22-year-old made the most of his 35 targets in 2022, catching 24 of them for 214 yards and no scores. Still, it was a far cry from the 93 catches for 1,286 yards and six TDs he had in 2021 in college. Moore will take on most of the slot duties in 2023, but he'll also line up outside and in the backfield, which will open some time for Bell in the slot. Unless Moore misses time with injury, Bell will probably be off the fantasy radar.
