Davante Adams Could Be On The Trade Block
1 year agoESPN's Dan Graziano writes that we shouldn't be surprised if Las Vegas Raiders wide receiver Davante Adams' name is thrown around as the trade deadline approaches in October. It's unknown if the Raiders would even consider moving Adams, but they unlikely to be in contention in 2023, and Adams initially went to Las Vegas to play with quarterback Derek Carr, who is now in New Orleans. If the Raiders season goes south quickly, Adams could want out, and head coach Josh McDaniels hasn't been shy about trading players he doesn't think fit in his system. Adams turns 31 in December and has $16.89 million in guaranteed salary on the books for next year, so it certainly won't be easy to move him. Trade rumors aside, the six-time Pro Bowler had 100 catches, 1,516 yards and a league-high 14 TDs in 2022 and remains a top-10 fantasy wideout.
