Darius Slayton Questionable Against Rams
3 years agoNew York Giants wide receiver Darius Slayton (hamstring) is listed as questionable for a Week 6 game against the Los Angeles Rams. Slayton appears headed for a game-time decision and could miss his third straight game. With Kenny Golladay (knee) ruled out, Sterling Shepard (hamstring) and Kadarius Toney (ankle) figure to serve as New York's top two pass-catchers. Even if Slayton makes his return on Sunday, he'd be serving as the No. 3 receiver, at best, against a very stingy Rams secondary. The 24-year-old was able to muster just seven catches on 14 targets for 127 yards and a touchdown in the first three games of the season before getting injured. If Slayton misses another game, Collin Johnson and John Ross will fight for snaps as the third wideout.
