Cowboys Defensive End Marshawn Kneeland Passes Away
The Dallas Cowboys announced on Thursday that second-year defensive lineman Marshawn Kneeland passed away on Thursday morning. A second-year player from Western Michigan, Kneeland was just 24 years old. The team did not announce a cause of death. Kneeland appeared in 18 games during the past two seasons, registering 26 tackles and a sack. In a statement, the team said, "Marshawn was a beloved teammate and member of our organization. Our thoughts and prayers regarding Marshawn are with his girlfriend Catalina and his family."
