Connor Norby Takes Batting Practice on Wednesday
Connor Norby (wrist) continues to rehab following wrist surgery in July. He participated in batting practice on Wednesday, although he is not expected back until the end of August at the earliest. Norby had surgery to repair a broken left hamate bone, and this type of surgery tends to zap the hitter's power when they first return. Norby hit six home runs and swiped seven bases over 72 games this year before his injury. The next step in his recovery program would be to get some live reps, followed by a rehab assignment.
