In a battle of two seasoned veterans, Clay Guida (36-20) earned an impressive unanimous decision over fellow UFC veteran Michael Johnson on Saturday. Working his striking game to take the first round, the Carpenter was able to utilize his well-known ground game to take the second and third rounds. During the 15 minutes of action, Guida landed 49 significant strikes (65 total strikes) while securing three takedowns. Losing three of his last four bouts, it was nice for Guida to get back into the win column against a very tough fighter. It's unknown how much the veteran has left in the tank, but to all fans who know Guida, he will always give 100% effort until his retirement.--Matt Bricker
