Philadelphia Flyers right wing Claude Giroux scored a goal and added an assist during Tuesday's 4-1 win over the Carolina Hurricanes. The 31-year-old finished the night with five shots on net in 18:45 of ice time. Since the 2017-18 season, Giroux ranks ninth in points amount all NHL players. He has 11 points in 14 games to start the 2019-20 campaign, and continues to be the leader of the Flyers' attack. Linemate Sean Couturier also delivered a power-play goal and an assist in the win.
