Chris Godwin Says He's Healthy
1 year agoTampa Bay Buccaneers wide receiver Chris Godwin said he is coming into the 2023 season with a clean bill of health. "Difference between survivor mode [2022] and [now] being able to perform at a high level…I'm excited about this year and excited to be healthy," Godwin said. The 27-year-old was coming off a torn ACL last year and dealt with hip and knee injuries, but he still managed to play in 14 games while posting his third 1,000-yard season and second straight for the Bucs. He had a career-high 104 catches (142 targets) for 1,023 yards and three touchdowns. But with quarterback Tom Brady now retired, Godwin's fantasy upside has been lowered now that he'll be working with either Baker Mayfield or Kyle Trask, or some combination of both, in 2023.
