Chiefs Acquire Daniel Brown From Jets
3 years agoThe Kansas City Chiefs acquired tight end Daniel Brown from the New York Jets on Tuesday in exchange for offensive guard Laurent Duvernay-Tardif, according to sources. The NFL trade deadline came and went on Tuesday without any significant movement across the league. Brown didn't see a single target in seven games for the Jets this year behind Ryan Griffin and Tyler Kroft and played just 13 total offensive snaps on the season. In his new home in Kansas City, he'll be providing depth behind Travis Kelce alongside Blake Bell and rookie Noah Gray. So far in his eight years in the NFL, Brown has 44 receptions on 64 targets for 420 yards and two touchdowns with the Bears, Jets and Ravens.
