Charles Oliveira put on an impressive performance on Saturday against Beneil Dariush by finishing him via TKO in the first round. In 4:10 of action, Oliveira had 26 significant strikes, 14 more than Dariush. Oliveira was hoping to rebound after being submitted by Islam Makhachev back in October of last year. Oliveira landed a head kick through Dariush's guard and followed up with a punch that dropped him. The Brazilian swarmed Dariush with ground strikes that forced referee Jason Herzog to step in to save Dariush from taking any more punishment. Oliveira ended up proving he isn't close to being done at the top of the lightweight division.--Alen Kurbasic - RotoBaller
