Bryce Miller to Throw Sim Game on Friday, Could Skip Rehab Assignment
Bryce Miller (elbow) said he will throw an up-and-down, two-inning simulated game on Friday before the team's series opener against the Houston Astros at Daikin Park and will operate on a six-day routine going forward. Miller thinks he can avoid a minor-league rehab assignment and rejoin Seattle's starting rotation soon, barring a setback. The 26-year-old landed on the 15-day injured list on May 12 with inflammation in his right elbow, but it's nothing too serious and he could be back for fantasy managers very soon. Even though it hasn't been the start that many expected out of Miller in 2025, fantasy managers should stay patient as he recovers from his elbow issue. The former fourth-rounder in 2021 out of Texas A&M has gone 2-4 through his first eight starts with a bloated 5.22 ERA and 1.54 WHIP with 35 K's and 21 walks in 39 2/3 innings pitched.
