Minnesota Twins right-hander Pablo Lopez (shoulder) made his first minor-league rehab start on Thursday night for Triple-A St. Paul and went 1 2/3 innings, allowing an earned run on four hits while walking one and striking out two for the loss against Triple-A Round Rock. Lopez is currently on the 60-day injured list and is working his way back from a Grade 2 teres major strain in his right shoulder. The 29-year-old will probably require at least a couple more rehab starts before he's a candidate to rejoin the Twins' starting rotation for the final month of the season in September. Lopez was 5-3 with a nice 2.82 ERA (3.02 FIP) and 1.07 WHIP with 61 punchouts and 14 walks in 60 2/3 innings over 11 starts before his injury. He's a must-roster player when he's healthy, but he's probably only going to have a handful of starts for fantasy managers down the stretch.--Keith Hernandez
