Bryce Harper Out Against Lefty In Game 1 Of Doubleheader
1 year agoPhiladelphia Phillies outfielder/designated hitter Bryce Harper is out of the lineup for Game 1 of a doubleheader on Saturday against the San Diego Padres and left-hander Blake Snell. Kyle Schwarber will take over as the DH and will hit leadoff, with Brandon Marsh in left field and batting eighth. Rookie Johan Rojas will start in center and bat ninth. The 30-year-old Harper is reportedly getting close to playing first base, and it could happen as soon as Game 2 on Saturday. He went 1-for-4 with a strikeout in Friday's loss to the Padres and is hitting .290 (62-for-214) on the year, but fantasy managers have been frustrated with his lack of power (only three homers and 23 RBI).
