Brock Purdy Practices With First-Team Offense Monday
1 year agoSan Francisco 49ers quarterback Brock Purdy (elbow) returned to training camp practice on Monday with the first-team offense after two days off for the first fully padded practice of camp. Purdy had surgery on his right UCL after tearing the UCL in the NFC Championship game last year, and all indications are that he'll be ready to go for Week 1 of the regular season, barring a setback in camp or the preseason. The 23-year-old has impressed head coach Kyle Shanahan to this point in the summer as well. The Niners have touted the progress of both Sam Darnold and Trey Lance this offseason, but neither signal-caller will see the field much as long as Purdy stays healthy and plays like he did in his impressive rookie campaign. In fantasy, will be in play in two-QB superflex leagues as a low-end QB2.
