Brian Goodwin's Playing Time On The Rise
5 years agoLos Angeles Angels outfielder Brian Goodwin went 1-for-4 with one run scored in the Angels 6-2 loss to the Indians. With nagging injuries keeping teammate Justin Upton from playing everyday, Goodwin has re-emerged as a useful offensive player for the Angels. Goodwin began the season white-hot, slashing .342/.437/.603 in the month of April through 73 at-bats. But his playing time has decreased each month since and he saw only 44 at-bats in the month of June while hitting only .229. But a solid finish to the month of July has him back in the Angels outfield rotation. Goodwin isn't posting eye-popping numbers but could serve as a decent plug-and-play option in fantasy for the next week or so.
