10/12:New York Rangers defenseman Brendan Smith scored a game-tying goal with just 2:39 left in regulation during a 3-2 overtime win against the San Jose Sharks. It was just the 18th goal in 357 NHL games for the former first-round pick. Smith tends to draw the ire of fans in any organization he is a part of, but he has looked solid to start the 2018-19 season. No matter, Smith is not a serviceable fantasy option and can be left on the waiver wire.--Raymond Harrison - RotoBaller
