Brandon Lowe Blasts Home Run No. 14 on Monday
Brandon Lowe hit a home run off his former teammate Zach Eflin on Monday night in the fourth inning. Lowe's blast extended the Rays' lead to 6-1 and they went on to take the first game of the AL East series 7-1. The 30-year-old lefty is hitting .260 this season with his 14 homers, 39 RBI, and a .334 wOBA. His batting and power numbers are slightly up from the last three seasons, when he battled multiple injuries. He has hit 10 of his 14 homers at home and definitely seems to be enjoying the friendly confines of George M. Steinbrenner Field. He and the Rays play every day the rest of this week at home with three more games against the Orioles before hosting the Tigers over the weekend. Lowe is a strong power option in DFS formats when playing at home and is a reliable option in all formats when healthy.
