Brandin Cooks A Candidate To Be Restructured
5 years agoLos Angeles Rams wide receiver Brandin Cooks may be asked to restructure his contract his offseason. Cooks is set to make $16.8 million in 2020 after he had a career-low 42 catches and just two touchdowns last season. He had just 72 targets after going four straight seasons with the Saints, Patriots and Rams with 100-plus targets in the passing game. It'll be tough for Cooks to produce big numbers in 2020 as long as both Robert Woods and Cooper Kupp stay healthy all year. Tyler Higbee emerging as a pass-catching threat at tight end also wasn't good news for Cooks. He'll be a boom/bust WR4/5 for fantasy owners this fall.
