1 year agoThe Toronto Blue Jays are placing shortstop Bo Bichette (knee) on the injured list on Wednesday with right-patellar tendinitis. Bichette was considered day-to-day with knee inflammation on Tuesday, but now he's dealing with tendinitis and will get at least 10 days to rest up. Toronto traded for Paul DeJong at the trade deadline on Tuesday, so he figures to fill in at the 6 for the Jays until Bichette is able to return. The team doesn't expect their star shortstop to be out for an extended period. The 25-year-old made his second All-Star team this year and is currently leading the league with 449 at-bats, 144 hits and a .321 batting average. He needs to be stashed in an IL spot in all fantasy formats for the time being.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
