Austin Dillon ended up 17th in the regular-season standings and just missed out on the playoffs. Not winning a race, in the end, was his undoing there. On the bright side, Dillon should hopefully finish at Darlington. He has crashed out of his last three races but has been running at the end of every race at the 1.366-mile course. The Richard Childress Racing driver started 12th and ended up second at last summer's race. He nearly pulled off a pass at the end but came up just short. Dillon has an average finish of 12.5 over the previous six races with two top-ten results. It could be a nice fresh start of sorts for the No. 3 car.--Chris Wassel - RotoBaller
